- Support for Camellia symmetric algorithms.
- Enhanced key-list command that displays the preferred symmetric algorithms list on keys.
- Argon2 password hashing algorithm.
- Support for SHA3 hashes.
- Support for the Bzip2 compression algorithm.
- Elliptic curve EdDSA and ECDH using the Ed25519 curve and Curve25519.
- These ciphers are considered deprecated in 9.2.1: CAST5, IDEA, and TripleDES.
- A new option in the EBSMap utility to display the fingerprint of a PGP key file.
