IronSphere automatically performs security scans based on DISA STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides from the Defense Information Systems Agency), which contain optimized configuration and policy information for system applications. STIGs are specific to the security system that is running in the mainframe environment – RACF, Top Secret, and now ACF2.
Real-Time, Automatic z/OS Risk Awareness
